HICKORY — Betty Louise Canipe, 75, of Hickory, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2007, at Lutheran Home Hickory West.
She was born on March 9, 1932, in Cleveland County to the late Wilbur Penkney and Bessie Morrison Shytle.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas O. Canipe, brother, Bill Shytle and sister, Bertha Hamrick.
Survivors include three sons, Bill F. Spake Jr. and wife, Deborah, Robert T. Canipe and wife, Ann, and Timothy L. Canipe and wife, Robin, all of Hickory; a brother, Gene Shytle of Shelby, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Graveside at Oakwood Cemetery
