At the age of 28, Kristi Lee Chagnon, loving mother of Sierra Chagnon French and cherished daughter of Donald and Barbara Chagnon, was taken in a tragic crash in York, PA as she left work.
Kristi is the only child of Donald L. and Barbara L. (Theriault) Chagnon. A 1996 graduate of Seton Catholic High School (Plattsburg, NY), she was a registered Emergency Medical Technician (Claremont, NH) and was attending Harrisburg Area Community College for nursing at the time of her accident. Kristi also worked as a waitress at Logan's Restaurant in York.
Kristi was a great fan of Disney and Disney World. Her favorite character was Mickey Mouse. She enjoyed music of many styles impressing her friends' parents by knowing most of the words to the "oldies" (or what Mom and Dad remembered from high school!). She could always make you laugh when you were down.
Kristi was a friend to many and could always be trusted and counted on when you needed someone.
In addition to her daughter and parents, Kristi also leaves her paternal grandmother, Dorothy (Wade) Emery of Pittsfield, NH; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald L. Chagnon, Sr. and her maternal grandparents, Lucien A. Theriault and Barbara A. Wilbur.
