Henry was a trustee at the Presbyterian Church.
He was a Private in the 56th Regt. PA Co. H Volunteer Cavalry and had two other brothers in the 1st PA Cavalry.
He served for three months:
Enlisted July 1, 1863
Discharged Aug 13, 1863
After his service, he resumed the trade of a miller, and died years later at the old Keifer mill near Frankfort Mineral Springs.
