Clara C. Adler, 71, of Staunton, Illinois, passed away at 3:25 PM on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her residence in Staunton, Illinois. She was born on January 20, 1947 in Litchfield, Illinois, the daughter of the late Jesse Foster & Viola Marie(Kline) Butler.
She married Harold R. "Bud" Adler on May 4, 1979 & he passed away on January 11, 2012.
She was employed as a store manager at Wareco in Staunton, Illinois & she served on the Board of Directors at New Douglas City Cemetery - New Douglas, Illinois. Clara was very interested in geneology & also enjoyed quilting, camping, & watching movies.
She is survived by 3 Sisters - June (Charles) Ridens of New Douglas, IL; Cindy Butler of New Douglas, IL; & Denise (John) Embry of Staunton, IL; her stepfather - Walter Butler of New Douglas, Illinois; Stepchildren - Vickie Senaldi of Staunton, IL & Harold "Junior" Adler of Staunton, IL; 2 Brothers-in-law - Bill Adler & Johnnie Monroe of Staunton, IL; & 1 Sister-in-law - Mary Adler of Staunton, IL; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, & Cousins also survive.
Besides her husband & parents, Clara was preceded in death by 1 Sister - Diane Donahue, 2 Brothers-in-law - Dewey Lavern Donahue & Robert Hooker, & 1 Sister-in-law - Carolyn Monroe; Infant half brother, Walter Butler Jr.
