●● Edward Algood was born before abt 1680, the first event for which there is a recorded date. Edward died bef January 1, 1683/1684 in Northumberland Co, VA.
●● He married Elizabeth (____). Elizabeth died fef March 17, 1686/1687 in Northumberland Co, VA. Edward Algood's name first appears on a jury charged to divide land in Northumberland County, Virginia in 1669. His name appears on a land patent, dated 1680 as a headright. Edward Algood, "planter", died before 1 January 1684, when his widow, Elizabeth, petitioned the Northumberland County Court for the administration of his estate. On 17 March 1686/7, the orphans of Edward and Elizabeth Algood, deceased, appeared in County Court to make their choice of guardians.
●● Edward Algood and Elizabeth (____) had the following children: i. Elizabeth Algood was born on (birth date unknown); ii. Richard Algood was born on (birth date unknown); iii. John Algood was born on (birth date unknown); iv. William Allgood was born abt 1680.
