Orley R. Reed
Services for Orley R. Reed, 69, 137 S. 34th St., will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in the chapel off Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Reed died Friday afternoon in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
He was born Dec. 26, 1912, in Newark, to the late James Reed and Mary (Fry) Reed.
He retired from Rockwell International in 1974 from the Axle and Repair Department and was a member of Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Indus (Weiss) Reed, two sons: Paul Reed of Newark and Carl Reed of Hebron; two brothers: Earl Reed of Gahanna and Chester Reed of Florida and five grandchildren. Three sisters and one brother are deceased.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today in Warren F. Kauber Funeral Home.
Son of James E. Reed and Mary Etta Fry-Reed. Married Indus B. Weiss and was father of Carl Reed and Paul Reed.
