Robert "Bob" Eugene Abbott, 94, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Greeley, died May 20, 2018.
He was born Dec. 3, 1923, to Philo and Gertrude (White) Abbott in Colorado. He graduated from Greeley High School and enlisted in the United States Navy where he served in the Pacific Theater aboard the U.S.S. Manila Bay from 1943-1945. He married Grace Townsend, who resides in Las Vegas, in 1952.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Abbott; sons, Gerald, Keith and Gregory Abbott; grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Dana, Kellie, Erika, Benjamin, and Andrew; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2018, at Linn Grove Cemetery, 1700 Cedar Ave., Greeley.
