Fay Ann Busi Bevilaqua, 84, Avonmore, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000, at Forbes Regional Health Center, Monroeville. The daughter of Michael Busi and Columba Olari Busi Serventi, she was born Dec. 25,1915, in Hicks Hill, Kiski Township. Mrs. Bevilaqua had lived in Avonmore her entire life. Due to her father's father's passing, she was raised by her stepfather, Joseph Serventi. She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Avonmore, and the Columbian Federation of the Fannie Sellins Lodge 47 of Avonmore. She was employed at Steiner's Manufacturing in Saltsburg before its closing. Surviving are a daughter, Janet Bevilaqua, at home; four sisters: Ann DeSimone, Avonmore; Gemma Barbieri and husband, Reno, Avonmore; Alice Abbott and husband, Robert, Millville, N.J.; and Lena Evans, North Bend, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Richard Bevilacqua, in 1996; four brothers: Michael, John, Primo and Leno Busi; and two sisters, Mary Busi and Edith Bevilacqua. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home, Avonmore, Avonmore, where a parish wake will be - conducted at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. A ..Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Avonmore, with the Rev. Father William Homolak as celebrant. Interment Interment will be made in West View Cemetery, Avonmore.
