Lila A. Stegner Martin, 96, of McConnelsville, passed away at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Highland Oaks Care Center in McConnelsville.
She was born Oct. 14, 1921, in Morgan County, a daughter of the late Emmet Scott and Faith Best Scott.
She was a member of the Malta United Methodist Church, former member of the Coshocton Farm Bureau and the Keene Grange.
She is survived by a daughter, Rita (Tom) Knox of Malta; son, Rodney (Linda) Stegner of McConnelsville; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her second husband’s children, Ronald (Becky) Martin and Mary LeTard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Stegner; and her second husband, C. Carlton Martin; brothers, Raymond, Norman, Glenn, Dwight, Dale, and Dana Scott; and a sister, Nina Scott.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home, in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Elizabeth Reed officiating.
Burial will follow in Malta Cemetery, beside her first husband.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Malta United Methodist Church Youth Building Fund.
