Richard was born to Josephine Rodriguez in 1921. He was a prisoner of War in WWII and was a pastor later in life.

He was preceded in death by his mother Josephine and his step-father Santos Rangel.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years Felicitas (nee Zamora) Rangel, his children: Robert (Bobby) Rangel, Michael (Mike) Rangel, Rachel "Nani" Voogt, Lillian (Lily) Cusick and Rebecca Ontiveros as well as his many grandchildren.

Papa will be loved and missed. He had a gentle kindness, that all love and remember him for.
