Obituary:
Rudolph Joseph Alberty 67, of St. Clair, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 21, 2007 at home. He was born September 11, 1939 in Roseville, Michigan, the son of the late Rudolph and Mary DeMattio Alberty. "Rudy" served his country with the United States Army from 1963 to 1967. He was employed at Automotive Supply of Roseville after the service and eventually became owner and operator retiring recently after 50 years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair. He was active in Habitat for Humanity, St. Clair County, and with mission work all over the world. Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Rik and Mary of Memphis, Tony and Danielle of St. Clair, and Vince and his fiancée Samantha Noonkester of Emmett and Joanne Alberty of Columbus, mother of the children; eight grandchildren Joe, Tom, Erika, Cody, Jolie, Clara, Ethan, and Andrew; three sisters and two brothers-in-law Theresa and Duane Lowe of Clinton Twp., Marie Howard of FL, and Elizabeth and John Gallagher of Clinton Twp.; three brothers and sisters-in-law Thomas and Joan of Big Rapids, Michael and Debbie of Allenton, and Raymond and Cindy of Macomb and several nieces, nephews and many friends. His family honors the memory of Rudolph and invites you to visit and share Wednesday and Thursday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair, with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Rev. Joseph Doenges, associate pastor, will officiate.
