Donna Malek age 69 passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at home in Des Plaines surrounded by her family. Donna was born on September 4, 1948 in Chicago. She graduated from Tuley High School in 1965. She married her sweetheart Ted on May 4, 1968. Donna and Ted just celebrated 50 years of marriage. Together they loved to travel, visit various casinos, attended summer concerts, movies, and spend time with their grandchildren. Donna was a devoted wife, loving mother, and an amazing grandmother, affectionately referred to as "Bobbi" by her grandkids. Donna leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband Ted, her 3 children Ted Jr. (Marcia), Melanie (Tom) Torello and Derek (Becky), her 9 grandchildren, Stephanie, Sarah, Emma, TJ, Grace, Oliver, Bart, Nola, and Frances, and her last remaining sister Starr. She will be deeply missed. Memorial gathering Friday, June 15th from 5:00 p.m. until time of Service at 7:30 p.m. at G.L. Hills Funeral Home 745 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines, IL.
