Mary Ann Adamski, 82, of Carlinville, IL passed away at 3:40 pm, Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL surrounded by her children.
Mary Ann was born January 16, 1936 in Pontiac, Michigan, a daughter to Jacob H. and Mary E. (Shroyer) Bock. Mary Ann married Frederick Adamski on June 24, 1985.
Mary Ann was a member of the Carlinville Elks Club and worked as a paralegal for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Springfield. Mary Ann loved to spend time reading, working cross word puzzles, enjoyed sitting in her sun room and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
Surviving Mary Ann are her sons; Todd Wright of Wills Point, TX, David (Shannon) Wright of Gillespie, IL; daughter, Lisa (Tom) Mancini of Matthews, NC; step-son, Kevin (Lee) Ralph of Decatur, IL; step-daughter, Tracy Lynn of Springfield, IL; sister, Jody (George) Fielding of Bloomington IN; grandchildren, Jeremy Mancini, Noah Wright, Colton Flournoy, Macie Wright, Isabel Wright, Alexander Wright; step-grandchildren, Michael (Tia) Carter, Natalie (Michael) McKee, Ryan (Jessica) Ralph and step-great grandchild, John Meadows.
Preceding Mary Ann in death were her parents, husband, Frederick Adamski, son, Jeffrey Wright and brother, Martin Bock.
There will be no visitation, cremation rites accorded by the Calvert & Ferry Funeral Home in Virden, IL. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Girard Cemetery, Girard, IL with the Rev. John Huxtable officiating.
Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, Girard, IL.
