Mr. Earl L. Robertson, 49, of Rock Hill S.C. died Nov. 25, 1997, at his home. Mr. Robertson earned a bachelor's degree in textile engineering from Georgia Tech and a master's degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina. He was director of manufacturing services for Springs Industries. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow Tuesday at Memory Hills Cemetery in Milledgeville. Survivors include his sons, James de Jarnette Robertson and Earl L. Robertson Jr., both of Rock Hill; and mother, Christine Robertson of Newnan. Memorial contributions can be made to the Rock Hill Police Department Worthy Boys and Girls Club, 120 E. Black St., Rock Hill, S.C., 29730. Bass Funeral Home, Rock Hill, S.C. (21 year old son, James "Jimmy", was sentenced to death for the brutal and horrific murder of his father).
