Additional survivors include; her father, Reuben Zerger of Kearney; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Carrie and Michael Donaldson of New Baden, IL and Kelli and Nate Scott of Bonner Springs, KS; one brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Chris Zerger of Bend, OR; one sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Steve Carr of Livingston, TX; and two grandchildren, Angelika Donaldson and Memphis Scott. Roxanna was preceded in death by her mother.
Roxanna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She was Crowned Miss Marion County in 1967. She was housewife, homemaker, and LPN in her earlier years. She was an advocate for those less fortunate and a true follower of faith. She was an avid gardener with a green thumb and an excellent cook. She shared a passion for the KU Jayhawks. Loved fishing with her husband and father and spending time with her family. She had a sweet soul and cared for everyone she met.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Children’s Mercy Cancer Center or KVC Health Systems.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Marion, KS. Thurman Funeral Home of Richmond is caring for Roxanna and her family.
