Helengrayce (Conor) Acworth, 83, passed away at 6:48 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Wellspan Select Speciality in York. She was the wife of the late William P. Acworth.

Mrs. Acworth was born August 7, 1934 in Bronx, NY and was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Kean) Conor.

She was employed by Shiney Brite where they manufactured Christmas balls and later retired from Cycle Products both in Emigsville. She was a member of the Northeastern Senior Center in Mount Wolf.

Mrs. Acworth is survived by her two daughters, Helane Leasure of Dover, and Wilhelmina Hurst and her husband, Dave of West York; her son, Kenneth Acworth and his wife, Jeanette of Cly; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, John Acworth; and her brother, Michael Kean.

Her funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2018, at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be Reverend Philip K. Nace.
