The Joy of our lives has flown away too soon. Joy Nicole Anderson joined her brother Jeremiah (also posted on Find A Grave, at memorial #189794356 )and her grandfather Eugene, in heaven on August 4, 2017. Joy has lived in Kearns, Utah with her large, loving family. She was the 13th child of 14 and grew up with 19 nieces and nephews who were more like best friends. She was dearly loved in the Kearns 5th Ward and was in the Young Women program. Christ, through our LDS faith, has been our greatest source of strength. We already miss Joy's beautiful singing, her quirky sense of humor, and most of all, her smile.

Joy is survived by her parents, Lyn and Jeff Anderson; her sisters, Charity Coulson, Hope Allen, Faith Moffitt, Grace Watson, and Serenity; her brothers, Jeffrey, Luke, David, Elijah, Gabriel, Jesse, and Isaiah; her grandparents, June Anderson, Thomas and Wanda Parks.

We want to thank all who have provided much needed comfort and support to our family in the form of service, donations, and many loving prayers. Thank you to the Primary Children's Hospital, Larkin Sunset Garden and McDougal Funeral Home staff for their kindness and understanding when it was needed most.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 11th, 11:00 a.m., at the Kearns Utah Stake Building, 4260 West 5215 South, Kearns, Utah 84118. Viewings will be held Thursday, August 10th, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and prior to services on Friday at the church from 9:30-10:40 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Garden Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah 84092.
