Jane worked at the Tooele Army Depot for 38 years. During that time she served as the purchasing and contracting officer and had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States. After retiring she, along with her sister Lou Rae, owned and operated Klassy Korner Floral for 19 years, a job she dearly loved and deemed as "keeping her out of the rocking chair". She fondly became known throughout the community as the flower lady. She developed lasting friendships during this time. She always went the extra mile and demonstrated excellence in all that she did.
Jane, with her sister Lou Rae, was honored as Grand Marshall for the Fourth of July parade in 2004. Jane was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony and enjoyed sharing and teaching the gospel to others. She served for many years in the Young Women program and also in the Primary. Jane thoroughly enjoyed working with the youth. Jane's life was a life of service and devotion to family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Rose Mardean Tate and Evelyn Tate Roundy; and brother-in-law Viv Roundy.
