CHATHAM Reeves "Buck" Verckio Keesee, age 80, of Chatham, died on Friday, May 4, 2018, at Chatham Health and Rehab Center. Born on August 6, 1937, in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Avery Thomas Keesee and Lessie Jane Dalton Dove. Mr. Keesee was a farmer. He enjoyed Blue Grass Music, working on antique tractors and trucks, and his dog, "Midnight." He is survived by his wife, Linda Faye Doss Keesee of the residence; two brothers, Oliver Keesee and wife, Edith of Lynchburg and Melvin Thomas Keesee and wife, Janice of Chatham; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 5 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by the Rev. R.G. Rowland. The family will receive friends at the residence of his brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Janice Keesee, 981 Oxford Road, Chatham. Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, Gretna is assisting the family.
