Bobby “Joe” Trammel was born October 30, 1947 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Joe was the son of Loys Trammel and Melba Young-Trammel. He passed from this life on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 30 days.
On June 30, 1973 Joe married Marsha Weigand in Greeley, Colorado. They returned to Moodys, Oklahoma and began their 45 year marriage.
Joe worked for Paddock pools as a Construction Superintendent building commercial swimming pools. He later served in the same capacity for the State of Oklahoma, caring for all pools owned by the State. Joe also farmed for many years, raising commercial chickens and cows. Joe was also a member of the Lowery Fire Department for 36 years.
Joe enjoyed raising horses, gardening, and watching the PBR. Nothing made Joe happier than watching and coaching his kids sports and later watching his grandchildren’s events. He beamed with pride watching each rodeo, baseball game, softball game, or academic meet.
Joe loved auctioneering and going to auctions, bringing home loads of treasures for his wife and kids to later clean up. He turned his love of auctioneering into a community service, providing his services to the community for countless benefit auctions. He loved every minute he spent helping others.
