Angela Lee Freeman was 17 years old when she disappeared September 10,1993 from the Pizza Hut in Petal, Mississippi.She was seen talking with her ex-boyfriend, Stephen. She has never been found.Her car was found parked at the Old Mahned Bridge in Perry County at 6:40 a.m. the same day. Angela was 4 months pregnant at the time she disappeared. DNA testing proved that blood found by her car belonged to her. Both of Angela's shoes were also found, but her purse and keys are still missing.
In 2002, her family held a memorial service for Angela, so they could have some closure. Her family says the funeral doesn't mark an end to the family's quest for answers. A headstone for Angela was placed in the cemetery with her picture on it. Even though Angela has never been found, this will give her mother a place to visit.
