Sandra A. McGrath, 39, of Plattsburgh died Monday evening in C.V.-P.H. Medical Center. She was a native of Plattsburgh and a licensed practical nurse and also a registered nurse.

She attended Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, La. She received membership and national certification of Medical Surgical Nurses and was a member of the Nurses Association of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She worked at Plattsburgh Air Force Base Hosptial from 1967 to 1976 and served at Alexandria, La., Veterans Administration Medical Center from 1983-1986. She served most recently at St. Rose de Lima Hospital, Henderson, Nev. Survivors include her husband, James McGrath of Plattsburgh; and one brother, Peter Sindo of Millinocket, Maine.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday in St. John's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery under direction of Brown. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Sandra Ann Sindo McGrath Memorial Nursing Scholarship, 116 Oak St., Plattsburgh, 12901.
