He was survived by his wife of 62 years Lida Ajesta Meese Woods, whom he married November 24, 1892, and 11 children Vergie Irene, Evelyn Lenore, William Roe, Howard David, Martin Lewis, Colvin Aaron, Rexford Therold, Cloyd Orval, Herman Ellsworth, Donald Duane, Wallace Franklin.
He was preceeded in death by 3 children Pearle Grace, Leonard Andrew, and Clinton Ardell.
