Bonnie Mae (Stradley) Witman, born July 15, 1944, South Williamsport, gained her Angel Wings on March 31, 2018. Her devoted family was at her bedside.

She was married to the love of her life, Charles H. Witman III, on Feb. 13, 1965. That started a life with her husband who was serving in the Air Force. They had celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in February.

Bonnie and her children, on several moves with her husband, lived in Okinawa, Japan, and Tainan, Taiwan for about 14 years. She also traveled and lived in California, Louisiana, Florida and New Jersey for about 9 years. She volunteered with family services while in Taiwan and received a recognition award for her services. Bonnie’s busy life did not stop her from devoting herself to her children, Charles, Denise, Christine, Helena and Gladys.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Witman III, and five children, Charles H. Witman IV (Helen), of Quakertown, Denise Valco (Stefan), Wiliiamsport, Christine Altman (Scott), of Middletown Township, Helena Witman (Chris), of Furlong, Gladys Jenkins (Lonnie), of Levittown; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in passing by her father, Charles Stradley; mother, Hazel; sisters, Cleo, Clara and Helen; and two grandsons, Josh Valco and Justin Witman.

Private viewing and grave site service will be at the convenience of the family.
