She was a homemaker and member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Surviving are four brothers and sisters-in-law, Peter and Sandra Ashy of Greenville, Ramon and Jenna Ashy of Greenville, Tony and Debbie Ashy of Sumter, Gus and Karen Ashy of Anderson; three sisters Bert Aoun of Greenville, Hanna Ashy and Lila Ashy, both of Syria.

The Recitation of the Rosary will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation to follow until 9:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The Divine Liturgy will be held Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 12 Noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.
