Patsy Antonacci
Patsy Antonacci, 65, of 316 E. Union St. died at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday at the Medi Center.
He was born in Riverton the son of Vito and Theresa Matarelli Antonacci and had been a resident of Springfield for 31 years. Prior to his retirement May 1, 1974 he was employed at the Illinois State Journal and Register for 14 years. He was married to Geneva Baratta Feb. 14 1943. Mr. Antonacci was a member of SS Peter and Paul's Church and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Geneva; two sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Yaniski of Springfield, Miss Ada Antonacci of Riverton; three brothers, Blagio and Tony of Springfield and Ike of Riverton; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at SS Peter and Paul's Church with Rev. Joseph Miller Officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
