Harry Davis Clifton, 91, of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Friday March 23, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living of Reidsville.
Funeral services were conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday March 26, 2018 at Grace Fellowship at South Park. Burial was in Reidlawn Cemetery with military graveside rites.
A native of Norfolk, VA, he was a son of the late Arthur Davis and Lona Duggins Clifton and had lived his entire life in Reidsville. Harry was a veteran of the US Army during WWII, and later served in the US Air Force where he played in the Air Force Band. After his stint in service, he continued his love of music by forming a band, Harry Clifton and the Blue Flames, that played “Big Band Music” throughout the area. He was a retired employee of American Tobacco Company and was a member of Grace Fellowship at South Park.
Survivors include his wife: Louise Snow Clifton of the home, sons: Michael Clifton, Sr. and wife Betty Jean of Reidsville, and Mark Clifton of Reidsville, a brother: Billy Clifton of Reidsville, grandchildren: Joshua Mark Clifton, Anna Clifton Jones and husband Joshua and Michael Clifton Jr., one great grandchild.
