He and Julia Anthony were united in marriage August 2, 1997. He served as Watertown Township Supervisor for 34 years before his retirement. John was a member of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church and was a Charter Member of Vassar Knights of Columbus. John enjoyed farming and gardening and served on the Soil Conservation Board. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Surviving are wife Julie Meacham of Millington
