Gilbert Ray Pestoni, 48, a forklift driver for Rodriguez and Sons, died Tuesday in Salinas. He was born June 4, 1953, in Salinas and was a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Pestoni is survived by his mother and stepfather, Louise and Raymond Huss of Magalia; two brothers, Bryan Pollock of Tucson, Ariz., and Anthony Huss of Magalia; a sister, Patricia Neville of Sparks, Nev.; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Carl Pollock and a nephew, Andrew Neville. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Healey Mortuary. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
