Monday, May 24, 1999-THE PARIS NEWS-RUSSELL "RUSTY" JAMES JONES HONEY GROVE-- Russell "Rusty" James Jones, 40 of Petty died from a brain aneurysm Saturday, May 22, 1999, at Hillcrest Memorial Hospital, Tulsa, OK. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday , May 25, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones was born Dec. 20, 1958, in Paris to Billy James and Jean Posey Jones. He was a driver for Jimmy Jones Trucking in Sawyer, Oklahoma.
Surviving are his mother; daughters, Heather Nicole and Kayla Jones of Reno; a sister, Donna Jones Boykin of Petty; a brother, Monte Paul Jones of Princeton, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his companion, Judy Hevener of Petty. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy James Jones, Aug. 25, 1989.
