Mr. Eddie M. Jones, 73 of Benton, Kentucky died on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at his residence in Benton, Kentucky.
Born Thursday, May 11, 1944 in Hardin, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Polk Jones and the late Hontas Copeland Jones. He was a member of Hardin Baptist Church and a member of the Kiwanis Club.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Siress Jones of Benton, KY; son, Jason Morris Jones of Moore, OK, daughter, Amy Pitt Steinfeldt of Madisonville, KY; 8 grand children; 1 great grand child.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Caroline Taylor.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Benton, Kentucky 42025 with the Rev. Ricky Cunningham officiating.
Interment will follow at Hardin Cemetery with Military Honors.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home.
