Stockton Man’s Body Recovered (8 Jun 1969)
RIO VISTA (AP) The body of a Stockton man was revered from the Sacramento River yesterday after he fell from the stern of a cabin cruiser pulling in at Hidden Harbor. Coast Guardsmen and sheriff’s deputies recovered the body of Lorimer G Carter at around noon. The owner of the boat of Stockton said he was steering the cruiser toward its berth when he heard Carter come up from below and then heard a splash. Officers said Carter, who had a diabetic condition, may have suffered a fainting spell.
