Thomas Ira Murdock – Funeral services were held Saturday, July 20, at the J. Sutton and Son funeral parlors, 4147 Trumbull Avenue, Detroit, for Thomas Ira Murdock conducted by Rev. Bertram W. Pullinger of Grace Episcopal church. Burial was at Oakview cemetery.
Thomas Ira Murdock was born at Milan, Indiana in 1881. He came to Gladwin with his parents when a child, and has lived here since excepting a few years which he spent in Detroit. He died July 17, 1935 at Herman Kiefer hospital, Detroit, of tuberculosis.
Surviving him are his daughter, Mrs. Eugene McSweeney, and his son Chester Murdock, of Detroit; his father, Eli Murdock; brother Porter; and sister Mrs. Theodore Roberts [Laura-km] of Gladwin; sister and brother, Mrs. William Scherer [Virgie-km] and Porter Murdock of Detroit; and a brother, Arthur Murdock in Cincinnati, Ohio. [He was also survived by his brother Delbert Murdock-km]
