Janet D. Hays was a long time resident of Texas. She passed away after a long illness on June 25, 2015.

Janet was born on May 1, 1942, in Michigan. She graduated from White Station High School, in Memphis, Tenn. She attended Northwest Mississippi Jr. College.

Janet married , on May 25, 1963, in Memphis, Tenn. The next day they moved to Dallas, Texas. In 1978, they moved to Houston, Texas. It was a goal to own their own business. In 1979 that goal was met. Together they owned and ran, Ye Ole Printery, in Houston, Texas. After 30 + years she retired.

Janet D. Hays was a beautiful lady, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Janet enjoyed entertaining and hosting family get togethers, birthdays, and Bunco. Her favorite time of the year was Thanksgiving and Christmas. She enjoyed cooking for the holidays. She enjoyed watching football!! She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved life!!
It was her wish that in lieu of flowers, that donations are made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
