Paul Albert Pratt entered into rest on Feb. 25, 2018. He leaves behind his wife Gladys R. Pratt, Brett LeRoy Pratt (both from Modesto) and Linda K. Wilson of Redding, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert L. Pratt and Grace L. Pratt along with his sister Anna Lawler and brother Floyd (Cecil) Pratt, his ex-wife, Rilla Ragsdale and their late son, Mark R. Pratt. Paul was born in Lea Springs, TN and moved to CA with his family when he was 9. He later served in the Army for 2 years in Huntsville, Alabama and achieved the rank of Corporal. It was here that he drove around the German rocket scientist, Dr. Werner Von Braun. He was married to his first wife at this time and they lost a baby: Denise Gale Pratt. After a divorce, he met and married the love of his life, Gladys. He worked as a Buyer for Market Wholesale Grocery Co. for 31 years in Modesto, Eureka and Redding. His hobbies included golf, fishing, fixing anything and gardening.
