JEANETTE L. MARCUM, daughter of Gertrude Webster, was born September 30, 1944 in Lebanon, Missouri and departed this life Tuesday, May 18,1999 in Lebanon, Missouri.
Several years ago Jeanette professed her faith in Christ at Harvest Tabernacle later uniting with First Assembly of God Church in Lebanon where she was active as long as health permitted.
Jeanette had driven a school bus for Lebanon RIII for the past twenty-six years. She had driven bus number 7 and later number 28. During this time she was also employed as custodian for Hillcrest Middle School. Prior to this she was employed as a checker for Ramey's on North Jefferson. Jeanette was always busy, working as a volunteer at the Lebanon Humane Society and for many years with the Rural Fire Department.
She enjoyed cooking, canning fruits and vegetables and working in her garden, but the greatest pleasure in her life came from spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She was looking forward to her new grandchild.
She is survived by her mother, Gertrude Webster; two daughters, Sherry Perryman and her husband Rick, Kristie Myers and her husband Brian; and two grandchildren, Zachary and Raquel Perryman all of Lebanon; also a number of other relatives and a host of friends.
Jeanette was a special lady, facing her battle with cancer courageously unto the end. She was loved by all who knew her.
