William Thomas Armbruster, Sr., age 83 years, died February 25 at his home in Deptford, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, he moved to Deptford in 1985. He worked for Chevron Oil Corp until his retirement in 2001. He was also employed as a Philadelphia Police Officer for 15 years. He was a member of Philadelphia Lodge F &AM as a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survived by his wife of 63 years, Thelma E. (nee Valente), children; Deborah Ann (Joseph) Colli, Lois Ann (John) Varalli, and William Armbruster Jr., grandchildren; Dawn (William) Murphy, Kelly Gillespie, Deborah (Kyle) Riepen, Denine (Del) Thomas, Joseph Colli, Nikki Varalli, and Johnny Varalli. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
