Dock Nicholas "Nick" Burton Jr., age 50 of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on June 30, 2003 of a brain aneurysm. Nick was born February 7, 1953 in Ashdown, Little River County, Arkansas.
He was a construction worker, a Christian and member of St. Rest Baptist Church in Foreman, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dock Nicholas Burton, Sr. and Maudie Mae Coffey-Burton, his sister Martha Alice Burton, his grandmother, Birdie Mae Burton-Griffin of Ashdown, Arkansas, his nieces Ethel Mae Burton, Linda Kay Burton, his nephews Henry Lee Burton, Adam Burton, Leon Burton and Antonio Burton.
He leaves behind his wife, Ramona "Mona" Burton, two sons Nick Anthony and Torey. Four brothers, Walter Earl Marks (Carol), Eddie Carl Burton (Dorothy), David Lee Burton (LaRetta) and Timothy DyWane Burton, Sr. (Tammie) all of Texarkana, Arkansas. One sister, Linda Kay Burton-Henry (Dwight) of Odessa, Texas. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
