Mom was born in San Francisco as a Bouyssou and was adopted by her stepfather Harold Cole whom married her mother Gladys Blair. They moved to Northern California later and started school in Montague California , Yreka, then moved to Talent Oregon and grew up there and lived the rest of her life in the Rouge Valley. She graduated from Talent High in 1957 or 58 and married Clyde M. Mooney in 1959. She soon later got divorced in 1961 and remarried in Oct. 1961 to Walter J. Gingerich then divorced him in 1974. She raised 3 boy's by her self till she reconnected with her old high school sweet heart James Engberg of Talent Oregon till he passed away in 1978 they never got married but on the weekends you could find them and son Donny up in the mountains fishing or rock hounding and picking wild berry's. Helen was one of the original Camp Fire Girls in Talent Oregon, and her stepfather and buddy's made the very first automobile race track on Agate flats out by Camp White.
Mom you were the best mother anyone could have you showed us true love and survival and you will be missed dearly with love Your son's. Gladys and Harold Cole are buried in Siskiyou Cemetery Medford Oregon.
