Dawn Rena Ginn Grubbs, 41, of Akron, passed away at 7:16 AM, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.

On January 2, 1977, Dawn was born in Plymouth to Leonard and Cindy L. Harper Ginn. Growing up she shared her childhood with two sisters and three brothers. Dawn graduated from Rochester High School in 1995. She went on to IPFW to study accounting, earning her associates then bachelor's degree. She worked at the Rochester branch of the Fulton County Library as account manager.

With a heart and passion for animals, Dawn rescued many over the years from puppies and kitties to bunnies. She enjoyed reading the Harry Potter series. At the library she sponsored parties for children, loved playing magic cards and many times was game night sponsor. A steward for our planet, Dawn and her sons volunteered at the recycling center. She also looked forward to the annual Chili Cook-off.

Left to cherish the memories of Dawn are four sons: Andy Grubbs and girlfriend Sabrina Garcia, Tayler Grubbs, twins: Brendon and Tristen Grubbs, all of Akron; her mother, Cindy Harper of Rochester; two sisters: Amy Little of Littleton, CO, Samantha Ginn of Longmont, CO; three brothers: Doug Ginn and wife Jackie West of Muskegon, MI, David Ginn of Broomfield, CO, Charlie Ginn of Denver, CO; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of the life of Dawn R. Grubbs will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service in the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers maybe made to the Fulton County Animal Education and Adoption Center.
