Born May 19, 1974 in Ardmore, OK, Heather was the daughter of Charles David “Rusty” Teafatiller and Joyce Regena Morton Teafatiller. She passed away Saturday, February 10, in Comanche County Memorial Hospital, Lawton, at the age of 43.
Heather graduated from Angelo Christian High School in San Angelo, TX and later was licensed as a massage therapist. At the time of her death she was working in the healthcare field as a caregiver for the elderly and also volunteering at a rehab center in Lawton. Heather loved to sing and write poetry but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her two daughters.
She was preceded in death by her father; two sisters, Regena Teafatiller and Amber Fisher; niece, Rehbecca Teafatiller; maternal grandparents, Rev. H.D. Morton, Sr. and Berniece Morton; and paternal grandparents, Melvin and Dixie Teafatiller.
Survivors include her mother, Joyce Allmon and husband Clifford of Pittsburg, KS; two daughters, Cassie Elam and husband Colt of Comanche, OK and Kelsie Morgan of Chickasha, OK; brother, Nathan D’Wayne Teafatiller and wife Deana of Elmore City, OK; three sisters, Collette Davis and husband Chris of Oklahoma City, OK, Stephanie Allen of Temple, TX, and Kylene Tucker and husband Ryan of North Carolina.
