Joseph Valentine Arce passed away from natural causes at the age of 87 while in Conway, Arkansas. Joseph was born February 14, 1928 in San Diego, California. He joined the Navy at 17 years of age in 1945 then came back and started work for SDGE where he was employed for 38 years before retiring as a Gas Supervisor. Upon retiring, he moved to the Eastern High Sierras until 2007, then spent the last 8 years in Conway Arkansas. Joseph was proud of his California heritage, He was a strong, respected leader with an open and welcoming personality. He always had a smile and could converse with anyone. His big heart went beyond the love he felt for his familyhe touched more lives than he realized. Joe was an inspiration to all who knew him and he will be sorely missed. We all loved the great times hunting and fishing with him.
