OLSON, Mary F. 83, died Jan. 27, 2018 at home under hospice care surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Williamsport, PA to George and Frances Williams. She was an innovator in the field of early childhood educator in Lakeland, FL. After moving to Tampa, Mary had a long career as a Director of Religious Education at three Tampa area Catholic churches, St. Mary's, Corpus Christi and St. Timothy's. She retired from St. Timothy's in 2001 and continued to volunteer in numerous programs. She was a loving and devoted wife, mom, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Mary loved playing tennis and continued to play up until 2 years ago. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clyde. She is survived by her sister, Anne Klingenburg; daughter, Teresa Love; son-in-law, Jeffery; son Jim; daughter, Lisa Croft; son, Paul; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; grandchildren, Brennan and Emily Love, Parker, Connor, and Noelle Olson. Visitation will be at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 17512 Lakeshore Rd., Lutz, FL 33558 at 6 pm, Thursday Feb. 1, 2018. Funeral service will be 11 am Friday, Feb. 2, 2018. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Metropolitan Ministries Tampa.
