Charles J. "Jake" Harris, 88, formerly of Louisville, passed away Sunday in Greenville, SC.

He was a retired photo engraver for Southern Gravure Service and a Navy veteran of World War II.

Jake is survived by a son, two daughters, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd. (family-owned and operated), with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
