Holly Kathleen Mohr was born on January 19, 1942 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of John and Katherine (Allender) Mohr. On December 14, 1957 she married Robert “Bob” Peppers in Davenport. Together they owned and operated Peppers Towing Service. Most especially she enjoyed her roll of being a homemaker and Mom.

She was a Master Gardner, a member of the Horticultural Society, a member of the Friends of Credit Island, the Speedway Fire & Rescue, and a former member of the Silver Spurs. She was a fantastic cook, loved photography, horseback riding, following her husband during his stock car and drag racing days, and most especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved animals and many will remember her for her pet cougar and her pet bear “Bobby”.

Surviving members of the family include – her Husband: Robert; 3 Daughters: Robin Peppers-Enoch, Loretta Johnson, and Wendy Roberts; 2 Sons: Randy Peppers and Terry (Dawn) Peppers; 44 Grand and Great-Grand Children: Dustin, Donny, Kathy, Dan, Naomi, Cyrus, Chad, Amber, Eric, Cameron, Caiden, Nicholas, Natalie, Matthew, Johnothan, Mitch, Carolee, Cole, Tara, Cleo Mae, Julien, Jessica, Shane, Anabelle, Lily, Finley, Aurora, Sophia, Tessa, Emily, A.J., Lucy, Lenora, Tommy, Suzanne, Kyla, Evelyn, Wyatt, Lisa, Stacy, Kane, Matt, and Branson; and Daughters-in-Law: Chris and Sue.

The family wishes to express a special note of thanks to the Heartland Hospice and her special care givers and homemakers, Kara and Trisha.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Friends of Credit Island Memorial Bench Program.
