Ferdinand E. Libenow (1863-1916) married Louise Bateman, together they had three children, Louis Davenport Libenow, Beatrice Libenow, Forrest Knox Libenow, and daughter-in-law, Louise nee' Braden Libenow (1899-1970). Ferdinand is the son of Ferdinand E. Libenow, he was a miner, a Spokane resident and a resident of Canada. F. E. Libenow was an inventor, and had filed for a Lantern patent and a wash pail patent. He was appointed as an American Consular Agent at Chanaral Chile - 1937. Mr. Libenow was a close friend of (Spokane Congressman Miles Poindexter - Find A Grave Memorial ID 7772926) , and an attorney who served as the assistant prosecuting attorney for Spokane County, Wash (1898-1904) as a judge of the superior court from (1904-1908) a Congressman, a Senator and a U. S. Ambassador to Peru.
