Romeo Julius Caesar Alexander, Jr was born on Sept. 28, 1956 in Prairie View, Texas to the late Romeo Julius Caesar, Sr and Orelia Simon Alexander. Upon graduating from Waller High School in Waller, Texas, he joined the United States Army and served honorably. He was a member of Masonic Lodge Fidelity No. 221 and worked various jobs in the industry as a high tech welder until his health declined. He accepted Christ in his life and ministered the Word of God daily reaching so many by text and social media all while not being able to walk and laying on his back until his demise. He is preceded in death by his father, Romeo Alexander, Sr., grandparents: Oscar and Lucy Alexander; Louis, Sr and Mary Simon; brother, Holly V. Alexander and niece, Baby Girl Alexander. Leaves to cherish memories: his beloved mother, Missionary Orelia Alexander of Waller, Texas, one son: Christopher Robert Davis of Cypress, Texas and one grandson, Andrew Lucien Davis; five brothers and three sisters: Anthony Louis Alexander (BettyJo) of San Jose, California; Wilford Carl Alexander of Anchorage, Alaska; Olivia Felita Alexander (Deryl Birdow), Daniel Joshua Alexander, Nathaniel Noel Alexander and Sharon Marie Alexander of Waller, Texas; Helaine Linda Guillory and Jason Alexander of Cypress, Texas; two special brothers/friends: Christopher Garrett of Prairie View, Texas and Minister Otis Curtis, Jr of Cypress, Texas. Nephews and nieces: Mark Guillory, Krystyna Guillory (2), Shaquitra Birdow Johnson (Charles) (3), Diamond Birdow, Jonathan Alexander (1), Benjamin Gage (1), Nicholas Nelson (2), Briana Gage (1), Tiana Alexander (3); Jason Alexander (Michele) (2); Larissa Alexander; Brandon Cox (2); Sean Cox; Makayla Alexander, Jason Alexander, Jr.,. Four great-nieces and eleven great-nephews including numerous uncles, aunts and cousins as well as family friends. Visitation was held at the Bailey Chapel Church of God In Christ, 3004 Sledge Street in Waller, Texas on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 9:00am to 11:00am. The funeral services began at 11:00am officiated by Minister Carl Rudolph Alexander, Jr and Senior Pastor Tommy Linsey of Bailey Chapel Church of God In Christ was the eulogist. Interment followed at Houston Cemetery in Hempstead, Texas. Arrangements entrusted to Lewis Funeral Home, 509 S Baylor Street, Brenham, Texas 77833.
