John (Dusty) King, 93 years of age, died at Texoma Medical Center on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. He leaves behind his wife of 69 years, Gladys King. They loved to travel and camp.

John served in the Air Force in World War II. He was a tank gunner on a B-24. He was born in Denison, Texas on December 6, 1924, but lived 52 years in California before their return to Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys (Massie) King, and sons Roy G. King and Gary L. King. Sisters, Dorris Bussie the youngest and Hazel Brouillete.

King's family was four brothers and two sisters; Joe King, Leon King, Dallas King and John King. All of the brothers are now deceased and only the sisters remain. They reside in California.

There will be no services as he chose to be cremated.

He worked for B. F. Goodrich Tire Company for 40 years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Church of Christ, a good Husband and Father. May he rest in peace.

Arrangements are under the direction of American Funeral Service, Denison, TX.
