Marcy was a feisty little thing. Being part Corgi she did not tolerate any kind of bullying from her bigger siblings. She really held a grudge when she thought she was being treated unfairly. She was relatively healthy and then old age hit her hard. She is the first dog I ever had that was diagnosed with dementia. She was deaf and partially blind and her rear legs were arthritic and painful. She could barely make it up the one step to our front door. The dementia caused her to wander into rooms where she would just stand and not be able to find her way out. She paced constantly from the pain and the confusion.
