Anne Abate, 54, of 15 Lincoln Ave., wife of Charles Abate, died Monday night at home.
Mrs. Abate was an electronics assembler for Hartman Systems for 20 years, retiring in 1982.
Born in Newport, a daughter of Helen K. (Gorman) Macomber of Warren and the late Stanley B. Macomber, she had lived in Bristol 33 years.
Besides her husband and mother she leaves a son, Charles Abate of Bristol; four daughters, Marsha D. Correa, Anne Ingram and Wendy E. Alves, all of Bristol, and Charlene Abate of Fall River; a brother, Stanley B. Macomber Jr. of Milford, Mass.; a sister, Sally Tracy of Warren; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Warren. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol.
